Retro Bitstrips: Siem Reap & Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

So I’m enjoying Bitstrips.  Not sure if I’m enjoying it too much, but I’m definitely enjoying it.

I did the “Retro” post a few weeks back about Bangkok and will probably do a few other ones when I see fit.  I did get some nice reaction from people on the Bitstrips I did for the summer trip, though, so I thought that I’d do the retro thing through comics.  Because why not.

So, we’re going back (again) to the summer of 2009 as Laird, Daina and I spent our first night in Siem Reap, Cambodia.  We were approached at dinner by a young Cambodian kid, probably no more than 14, and while we didn’t quite know what was happening at the time, it definitely helped open our eyes to a side of tourism that is, actually, quite apparent, but most people just don’t take the time to look.  I think I may actually use this comic for my class one day and see if they can figure out what is happening, but in the meantime, enjoy!
