Travel via Bitstrips

So most readers would have seen the “original” Kirk & Daina Bitstrip that I posted before we left for the Central America trip, but I spent a couple (literally, like, TWO) minutes putting together a little preview for next summer.  At least, a preview for ONE of the stops, the Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon.

It did get me remembering, though, that I had a made a few Bitstrips over the course of the summer for my class, as a way to encourage them to write about their summer.  There were a couple that weren’t the best, including one featuring the moral dilemma about ziplining without a helmet, but I thought I’d include some of the other Bitstrips as well, just for the fun of it.

First, a short Flores, Guatemala travelogue.

Then, we had the Tikal Bitstrip, featuring a raincoat that I don’t own and is way too stylish.  It also makes me look a little Christopher Robinesque with the default Bitstrips short-shorts.
Best part of that one is that one of my kids tried to turn the coati part of the comic into a version of “A Panda Eats Chutes & Leaves vs A Panda Eats, Shoots and Leaves” by saying “A Coati eats tarantulas and leaves”
Then, Shark Ray Alley in Belize.

Just pictures and caps for that one, since Bistrips doesn’t really have a viable swimsuit option, unless I’m going to wear a Speedo.
And nobody really needs to see that.
